Long Time No Blog

First, work has picked up again, but that was to be expected. We're still without a definite project, but we're following sevral leads and submitting various proposals.

I've been setting up a new server for our group at isag.meng.auth.gr. I've used IBM's EVMS and can say that I'm very impressed with it. The setup and configuration went very smooth, modulo some mistakes on my part due to lack of RTFM. And again, Debian proves that it is a first-class distribution.

I'm still looking for a good name for this blogging software, provisionally dubbed JaBlog. I'm considering naming it blogentis, as somebody told me that it's blog for the people in Latin... Anyway, JaBlog has now full read-write XML-RPC support (including media!) and can auto-correct your HTML and convert it to XHTML courtesy of JTidy
