JAJU (A.K.A. Just Another JaBlog Update)

Several interesting things have happened to jablog the last week or so that I have been silent.

The most interesting of which is the re-normalization of the RSS feed generator. It is now possible to have RSS feeds that search the comments of a section of a blog for a specific word, but only for a spcific day, month or year. Other stuff includes:

  • Optional full text RSS feeds
  • Uploading/managing images of the blog
  • Trackback sending and receiving
  • Restoring the templates from a backup works correctly.
  • Read-only complete XML-RPC support for MT, MetaWeblog and Blogger.
  • Convert double linebreaks to new paragraph.

On another point, work and other RealLife(tm) issues have put a damper on my ability and free time to work on jablog - expect less code and more hot air^W^Wblog posts.

    Still haven't figured out how to work the trackbacks.. Re: "expect less code and more hot air" -- about time, now I get to comment on your posts :-)
